Description
The Molnlycke Tubigrip Elasticated Tubular Bandage contours around the body with its sleeve pull-on design providing support to a limb when nursing a tendon or muscle sprain or strain. With its wide range of sizes, this multi-purpose tubular bandage fits the wrist all the way to the trunk for rib cage injuries. It will also treat general edema and post-burn scarring.
The Tubular Bandage is constructed out of a blend of cotton and elastic threads to encourage support with allowance of movement. The stretchable, elastic latex fibers evenly distributes support adding to its versatility. It is designed to add support over a primary bandage. When bandage gets soiled, it can be machine washed and then reapplied without losing its supportive integrity.
If you are allergic to natural latex rubber you may want to consider using Stockinette by Alba Healthcare that is made of natural cotton and can be cut to size.
Tubigrip Tubular Bandages are available in natural and beige colors. The bandage applications range from A to Lin sizes small to large to properly fit various parts of the body. Use the sizing chart below to select the best size. It is recommended to cut the bandage twice the length of the limb to allow for overlap with a outer layer 2-3 cm higher than the primary layer.
