Description

For those times when a medical device causes pain or discomfort, this self-adhering foam dressing will act as a protective barrier. Casts, splints, and other medical devices often cause skin irritations. Reston’s Self-Adhering Foam Dressing is designed to alleviate these issues. It has a soft polyurethane foam coated with acrylate. Because it’s lightweight and highly conformable, wearers will barely notice as it guards skin from irritants. Since it’s a self-adhering adhesive, users will not have to worry about having extra tape. It is adaptable to many situations including exuding wounds, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, and first and second degree burns. It can also be placed on operating room tables, beds, and chairs as additional padding. Latex free and hypoallergenic, this foam dressing is suitable for people with sensitive skin.

For people with casts we offer the Carex Cast Protector to keep arm casts dry in the shower. The Cast Protector by Sammons Preston keeps leg casts dry.
