Description
Medtronic Shiley Neonatal Tracheostomy Tubes are available in cuffed and uncuffed models to facilitate tracheal airway management through a stoma. The NEO Neonatal Trach Tubes have a lower flange angle for an improved fit for infant anatomy.
Pediatric Tracheostomy Tubes are designed for infant anatomy in cuffed and cuffless. Long pediatric trach tubes are available with longer cannula to fit larger pediatric patients. The longer cannula is also available with cuffed models PLC. Shiley also offers a PDC which is a cylindrical cuff design.
Both Neonatal and Pediatric Shiley Tracheostomy Tubes are designed with a recessed area behind the connector for greater comfort to the infant. It comes with its own smooth, rounded tip obturator to create easier insertion. The soft flange reduces irritation to the tracheostomy stoma upon removal. Shiley Trach Tubes are made of medical grade PVC and do not contain DEHP. Refer to the size chart to find the correct sizing.
