Description
Mucinex DM Maximum Strength Tablets feature 2 layers. Guaifensin is an expectorant, and dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Together, they provide up to 12 hours of mucus thinning and cough relief.
The top layer, dextromethorphan, starts working immediately. The bottom layer, guaifensin, is extended-release and provides relief over several hours.
This over-the-counter drug is intended for users 12 years old and above. It can be taken with or without food at night or during the day. Swallow Mucinex DM with plenty of water.
