Description

Molnlycke Mepilex Lite Dressing Overview

Mepilex Lite Dressings by Molnlycke are sterile dressings used for wound management. Mepilex Lite can be used to treat non- to low-exuding acute and chronic wounds, including leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, partial-thickness burns, and radiation skin reactions. It can also be used to treat bullous disorders like Epidermolysis Bullosa, graft versus host disease, and Steven Johnson's Syndrome. Additionally, Mepilex Lite may be used to protect compromised or fragile skin, used under compression bandages, and used in combination with gel treatments. Mepilex Lite is designed to be soft, thin, and comfortable for the patient and easy to use for the dresser. Mepilex Lite can dress difficult-to-dress areas easily and can be cut to size for the perfect application. Its built-in Safetac layer makes dressing replacement less painful. Mepilex Lite can be used to seal margins to reduce skin reactions to radiotherapy and is specially designed to prevent maceration.
