The LMA MAD Intranasal Mucosal Atomization Device is an effective and painless tool for safely delivering topically administered drugs into the nasal cavity. The MAD Device delivers medication with a quick mist, which is easily absorbed by membranes in the nostrils and delivered to the brain and cerebrospinal fluid. Intravenous drugs can be a challenge to deliver and medical tools used to do so may cause discomfort, such as needles, large droplets, and catheters. Using this device also eliminates the chance of a needle stick injury.

The MAD Nasal device come with a syringe that insures accurate dosages, and the adapter can be used with syringes that you may already have. The MADomizer uses a pump instead of a syringe. It comes with a disposable tip, which lowers the risk of cross contamination by using a one-way check valve.
