The Lumin eliminates mold and bacteria by emitting a high-energy light within a narrow spectrum of UVC light. The Lumin runs a 5-minute cleaning cycle. This is typically enough to kill most of the bacteria or mold off a surface. Below we will go into some of the specific use cases and general cleaning tips and guidelines. Parts and Assembly Steps
- Lumin Drawer: This will be where items are placed to be cleaned.
- Lumin Bulb: When you first receive your Lumin, you will need to remove the drawer. You can then place the bulb into the bulb socket on the inside of your Lumin.
- From here you simply reinsert the drawer and plug in the Lumin. A front Ready light will turn green when the Lumin is powered correctly.

With all cleaning, it is important to note that the Lumin does not remove physical debris. Before sanitizing most items in the Lumin, it is recommended that you first wipe them down with a CPAP mask wipe or mild soap and water, depending on what you are cleaning. When you have wiped down your items, place them into the Lumin with the greater use surface facing the light, i.e. your CPAP mask should have the inside of the mask facing the light. The Lumin does not clean the inside of devices that are placed inside, such as the insides of CPAP tubing.
