Guardian Connect Transmitter for Sensor 3 - MMT-7821

The Medtronic Guardian connect Transmitter for sensor 3 connects to the Guardian Sensor 3 to transmit glucose data directly to your Apple smartphone. The transmitter will convey data every five minutes, giving you valuable insight into your glucose trends. Know the state of your levels in real-time and place yourself in greater control of your diabetes. Additionally, the Guardian Connect app can even notify you ten minutes to an hour before a spike or a drop in blood sugar, giving you time to adjust your medication or diet and avoid extremes in your glucose levels. Through the care partner access option in the Guardian Connect app, you can adjust settings to alert your loved ones of potentially dangerous glucose levels.

The Connect Transmitter for guardian sensor 3 is placed using the included serter. Once secured, the Guardian Sensor 3 can remain in place for up to seven days. The sensor and transmitter can be worn on the arm or the abdomen. This system is waterproof to a depth of 8 feet for up to thirty minutes, making it safe for the shower, bath, and light watersports activity.

Once connected, The Guardian Connect Transmitter communicates not only with your Apple smartphone, but also with the Medtronic Carelink software system. The Medtronic Software system records and charts your glucose data so that you and your healthcare provider can access their information and assess for trends and patterns to help you make more informed decisions regarding your diabetes management.
