Overview
The Teleflex Gibeck Humid-Vent 1 Heat Moisture Exchanger without CO2 Port is the original in-line HME for passive humidification for mechanically ventilated patients. Teleflex 11112 HME is bacteriostatic to inhibit bacteria growth in the airway while providing humidification. The straight design without CO2 port creates a low-resistance to flow for tidal volumes 50 to 600 mL. After use, dispose of the HME, since it is for single-patient use only.
