Risk Manager Fall Protection Mat

Overview

Span America’s Risk Manager fall protection bedside floor mat uses orthotic gel to soften the landing in case of rolling out of bed and provides a comfortable place for family and caregivers to stand beside the bed. Textured surfaces on the top and bottom reduce the chances of slipping as well as the chances of caregivers moving the mat out of the way. Infused with Nano Silver, the mat is protected against bacteria, mold, and mildew.

FAQs

How secure is the mat once installed?
The top and bottom of the mat are both textured, decreasing the risk of sliding. In the case of extremely slippery floors, “grip strips” may be added to the bottom of the mat for additional security.

Do the corners or edges create a trip risk?
Although the edges of the mat are beveled, the corners are angled in such a way that no edges stick up to trip over. These edges also make it easier for wheelchairs to roll over the mat.
