Atrauman Ag Wound Contact Layer Dressing - 5 & 10 cm

The Atrauman Ag Wound Contact Layer is a paraffin-free, non-medicated, impregnated silver dressing for treating chronic and acute wounds with minimal adhesion and trauma to the wound bed. It contains antimicrobial silver that can kill bacteria and help prevent infection. The layer is thin, soft, drapable, and can be cut to size to completely cover the wound. It can be applied under an absorbent secondary dressing to protect the wound bed while still letting exudate pass through.

As a contact layer, the Atrauman is impregnated with triglyceride-based ointment to protect the wound from secondary dressing adhesion. This helps dressing applications and removals become less painful and traumatic for the patient. It also helps prevent wound maceration.
