The Airsep Focus Portable Oxygen Concentrator is the lightest concentrator available. Weighing in at less than two pounds, it is barely noticeable as users leave the house. Whether running errands or travelling, the Focus provides quality oxygen on the go. Approved for use on airlines by the FAA, it is the perfect traveling companion. There are three different ways to wear the portable oxygen concentrator for added convenience. Choose from a carrying bag, a shoulder strap, or a belt clip for ideal carrying for every user. One can even change it up for varying situations.
As an additional accommodation for users, the Caire Airsep Focus Portable Concentrator has no settings to adjust and has one-touch operation. Simply turn it on for pulsed oxygen and go! All that is needed is to watch battery levels, which are indicated by lights on the top of the concentrator. However, when battery levels get low, the Airsep Focus is equipped with an audible alarm to warn you to connect to a power source. The alarm also sounds for other important alerts such as high temperature of the device, system errors, breath rate is exceeded or if no breath is detected/cannula disconnect.
In order to provide the highest quality respiratory therapy, the Focus comes equipped with UltraSense Technology. This provides a bolus, or oxygen burst at the beginning of every breath. Not only does it detect when the user takes a breath but it also can adjust the size of the bolus, providing just the right amount of oxygen. This allows it to reduce the risk of skipping a breath while at the same time reducing wasted oxygen that may not be needed.
The Caire Focus Concentrator also gives flexibility of multiple power sources. It comes with two rechargeable batteries. Each battery can power the unit for 1 1/2 hours when longer periods of time are needed away from either a DC power source in the car or an AC power source in a home or office. Both power cords are also included in the initial purchase, along with the concentrator itself, batteries (2), both a carrying and accessory bag, a case to hold batteries, a shoulder strap, and a cannula. If additional or replacement batteries are needed, they are also available for purchase.
