The Comply Steam Chemical Integrator Strip with SteriGage is a class 5 internal pack monitor for use in Steam Chemical Sterilization processes operating at temperatures between 250° and 275°F. Steam sterilization is known to be an effective and widely-used method of sterilization in healthcare facilities for over a hundred years. The method is only effective if during the process the appropriate time, steam and temperature conditions are achieved. It can sometimes be difficult to know for sure whether or not your supplies have been subjected to the necessary conditions. The Comply Steam Chemical Integrator Strips allow the user to know immediately if the appropriate sterilization conditions were met. Include a strip in every pack and have no question as to the effectiveness of your sterilization process.

To use, all you need to do is look at the progress of the shaded bar in the Comply Steam Chemical Integrator Strip, which indicates clearly and unambiguously whether the proper conditions have been met. If the shaded bar has progressed into the clearly marked 'accept' portion of the strip, necessary conditions have been met and your material has been processed. If the shaded bar remains within the 'reject' portion of the strip, conditions have not been met and your supplies/material have not been processed. Designed to be used in conjunction with biological indicator strips, but never as a replacement for them.
