PhenylAde MTE Amino Acid Blend is a nutritional drink mix intended for the dietary management of phenylketonuria (PKU), which is an inborn error of metabolism of phenylalanine, an amino acid. People with PKU require a strict diet that, among other things, should not include phenylalanine. PhenylAde is phenylalanine-free to better suit those with PKU.

This powdered medical food is for toddlers, children, and adults. Fortified with a blend of amino acids, minerals, and trace elements, each pouch increases essential and non-essential amino acid content to low-protein foods and beverages.
